Chef Michael has been in the food industry for over 15 years and graduated from Bellingham Tech’s Culinary Program in 2003. His career in the food industry started when he was a line cook for a Mexican restaurant at the age of 15. In 1994 he enlisted in the Navy where he spent four years a cook. This gave him great knowledge in high volume cooking. He recalls a certain day where the crew was making a cake for a captain who was retiring. This is what sparked the fire for cake decorating.
Chef Michael picked up cake decorating as a hobby for our family and friends. It started to evolve into a deeper desire to bring the creative side of him into the lives of others for their special day. Whether it’s a simple birthday cake or an elegant wedding, he loves to bring joy to others through cake design.
Since his discharge from the Navy in 1998, Michael continued to work in the food industry at establishments like; The Light House Inn, Semaihmoo Resort, Nook Sack Casino, Tulalip Casino, Bone Fish Grill and the Everett Event Center. He is passionate about cooking and bringing heavenly taste to your pallet.
His personal attention to his clients needs is what sets his bussines apart from the rest. He believes in customizing a menu around what foods you love. He also believes that providing options to stay in your budget is as important as menu selection.
Chef Michael has balanced his career, family and ministry with remarkable grace. He has a deep rooted desire to serve others and this moral is evident in his family life, friendships, and his growing business. | | |
